Anticoagulation Therapy Unit
The AMH Anticoagulation Therapy Unit has been designed to assist physicians in the management of patients prescribed warfarin therapy. Patients that have been referred to the clinic by their physician, may come into the clinic to have a finger stick lab test to determine their INR. The patient receives a dosing adjustment as well as education at each clinic visit.

The program offers a medically trained and registered nurse certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support to supervise exercise with ECG monitoring and oxygen saturation monitoring.

Emergency Department

The Emergency Department has a staff of emergency physicians, nurses, and technicians trained in emergency medicine. EMS
24 hour 911 Emergency Response - Adams County EMS operates from an enhanced 911 system that is dispatched through the Adams County Sheriff’s Department.
Intensive Care Unit
Our unit strives daily to live up to the hospital’s motto, “Professionally we serve and personally we care.” We also believe keeping your loved ones close to home is a wise choice for both the patient and the family. Our experienced critical care nurses are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The nurses have had additional education in cardiac monitoring and caring for critical disease states. Together, the nursing staff and our critical care team provide for the intensive needs for cardiac, respiratory, and acutely ill patients.
Infection Control Department
The Infection Control Department at Adams Memorial Hospital provides educational in-services and participates in a proactive education program for staff. Education focuses on infectious diseases and preventing the spread of infection. The Infection Control Nurse monitors patient care areas in the hospital facility and oversees the Infection Control Programs at Woodcrest, The Village of Heritage, and Adams County Home Health Agency.

Stat Care
The clinic will focus on treating minor injuries and illnesses. No appointments are necessary. Insurance plans can be billed.
